I loved working at Texas Tech McKenzie Merket to create this beautiful outdoor ceremony location! It was hot (late May wedding) so I built these foam-free floral arch pieces on-site. Floral foam is terrible for the environment and single-use, so instead I made chicken wire cages specifically tailored to the shapes the couple wanted and added greenery and floral to create this magical ceremony arch.
As a Lubbock wedding florist, I think it’s important to use local suppliers when I can. I used local Lubbock flowers from FlatCity Floral Farm and they were so fresh and beautiful!
Can’t wait to work at TTU again!
