Every wedding is different, but here’s an example to see what an invoice for wedding flowers in Lubbock typically looks like. I’ve changed some details and removed any personal information so it can be more anonymous!
After a potential client fills out the questionnaire and sends some inspiration photos, I create a moodboard for the flowers and a quote. Depending on the client, I’ll often do a phone call before I finish a quote and moodboard to ask any questions and get clarity on the overall look.

You can see below many items marked zero cost that are repurposed (like the bridesmaid bouquets that will be reused as centerpieces, etc.).

After a quote is sent, the potential client and I go back and forth until the total price matches the intended budget and everything fits with the overall design vision. A potential client can secure their date by signing a contract and paying a 30% non-refundable deposit. There is often a delivery or set up charge, although this invoice was part of a “free set up and delivery” promotion.
Throughout the planning process, the client will have access to a google drive folder that can be accessed to update with numbers of items, updates to inspiration photos/colors/vibes, etc. At the final consultation about five weeks before the wedding date, I’ll confirm all details. The remaining balance is due three weeks before the wedding date and everything is changeable until then.
I try to keep flowers affordable by giving advice to help clients stay in budget (choosing cost-effective flowers, focusing on high-impact pieces, lowering labor costs when possible, etc.). I have some clients who DIY parts of their wedding flowers (for example I can provide flowers for bud vases prepped and ready to go in a bucket).
